It All Began With A Voice

She didn't know what to do, her feet were completely frozen to the ground. The melodic vibrations of his voice entranced her, captured her, mind, body and soul. It was all so beautiful.
There he was, sitting on a street corner and strumming his guitar. The case was open at his feet and people would stop to throw coins and a few loose dollar bills in every so often. it was a grimy, but almost idealistic scene, like a worn but gorgeous photograph.
Suddenly, life had started to come back to her legs. Before she knew it she had started to walk towards him with a purpose, her mind on auto pilot.

PetsThe night had become dark and bitterly cold by the time she had arrived at the building with the wrought iron fence. The Central Control Bureau would later call it one of the coldest nights they had ever experienced for generations to come. Maybe that was why she had come out of hiding; the weather was too cold to bear.
